IIC Partners Maintains Global Ranking

April 2007

For the third year running, IIC Partners has placed eighth in the ranking of the top 20 global executive search organizations by Executive Recruiter News (ERN) of New York.

The annual ERN survey is based on revenues and its figures showed IIC kept pace with the growth rates of industry leaders.

IIC Partners turned in revenues of $129.5 million for calendar year 2006, up 20.8 per cent from 2005. ERN figures showed average revenue growth among the top 10 global search groups increased 22.2 per cent for the year. Growth rates among smaller firms in positions 11 through 20 averaged 26 per cent.

The IIC member firm, Gilbert Tweed Associates of New York, placed 18th in ERN’s ranking of the top 40 firms in the United States with revenues of $10.3 million.

“We like the solidity demonstrated by our consistent placing,” said IIC Board Chair Martine Bournerias of Paris. “It’s a good way to cap off 2006, which was our 20th anniversary as an international executive search organization.

“IIC has been ranked in the top 10 by revenues, as well as by global office counts, for the past several years and that message is clearly getting through to the market place.

“Our pace of transborder searches — those referred from one country to another — doubled in 2006, so we’re confident we’re gaining a larger global profile,” Bournerias said.

“With more than 60 offices around the world, we offer connections wherever clients need them and we’re increasingly visible in the marketplace. Over the next two or three years, we believe we can leverage our size into increased market power, revenues and a correspondingly higher ranking,” she said.
