Ross Imray
 An economics graduate, Ross initially joined de Jager & Associates in 2001 in selected industry consulting roles, bringing to those roles extensive experience and expertise in the automotive industry. In his career Ross has held many senior roles in some of the largest automotive companies in Australia, Europe and the Asia pacific region.
Joining Ford Australia in 1968, Ross progressed through a variety of roles in Australia, Europe and the Asia Pacific Region. He then joined BMW Australia as Financial Controller before moving to General Manager of Sales and Marketing, establishing the BMW prestige market leadership it still enjoys today.
Following two years managing a large retail dealership In 1998 Ross was appointed Group General Manager of Ateco Automotive, the national importer and distributor of Alfa Romeo, Citroen and Kia.
His proven success has seen Ross move into his current executive search role at de Jager & Associates. He is concentrated not only on the automotive sector but also the many related industries including commercial vehicles, agricultural equipment, component suppliers, finance and fleet companies, retail dealerships and the many providers of professional services.
In 2005 he succeeded Kris de Jager as Leader of the IIC Partners global automotive practice group and works closely with industry experts worldwide to identify the best talent.
Ross is based in Melbourne and in his spare time enjoys playing golf with his wife Sue.
